Pilates - Stretch with strength and control. Pilates can be tailored to any level to build a strong and flexible body. Studio sessions at CORE will include work on the Reformer, Pilates Tower, as well as other props. The spring-based resistance of this equipment creates a unique environment that both supports and challenges the body. In home sessions will be on the Mat and incorporate a variety of small props.
NeuroKinetic® Therapy - Whether you’re dealing with chronic lower back pain or would like to improve your deadlift PR, sometimes problems with pain and performance are best addressed via the bodies “software,” rather than “hardware.” Based on motor control theories, NeuroKinetic® Therapy uses subtle manual muscle testing to assess the neuromuscular system and create the opportunity for precise correctives that go to the source of the imbalance, rather than just treat symptoms.
Anatomy in Motion® - Based on the six phases of the gait cycle (aka walking) this system engages and coordinates the body in all dimensions from the feet up. In this work, neutral is defined, not as a position to maintain, but as the ability to move freely in any direction. Like NKT®, personal training, and Pilates, this approach can be equally empowering for those seeking relief from painful conditions and those looking to enhance their athletic performance.
